Education Background:
B.A. History – UVIC; M.A. Counselling Psychology – Yorkville University; post-graduate program, Infertility Counselling Certificate

Theoretical Approach:
Jennifer has an eclectic approach to counselling drawing from a number of theoretical perspectives. She tends to work with a Solution-Focused Brief therapy (SFBT), Cognitive-Behaviour therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Counselling focus. The emphasis on theoretical approach varies depending on the individual’s goals and personality.

Common Issues:
Jennifer works with adults who have a broad range of presenting issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and grief. Jennifer has a special interest in working with people with reproductive health issues.

The common issues seen in her office are:
Infertility related issues (inlcuding, but not limited to, issues that arise with natural cycles, IVF cycles, IUI cycles, egg donors, surrogates, sperm donors, selective reduction, multiples, miscarriages, embryo donation and adoption)

Appointments:

Appointments can be booked by phone (250.216.7345). There is a confidential voicemail should you wish to leave a message.

To accommodate busy schedules, in addition to weekday appointments, evening appointments are available. New clients can usually be seen within two weeks.

To cancel an appointment 24 hours notice is required in order to avoid being charged for the session. Appointments are usually one hour in length. Cash or cheques are accepted. Rate is subject to GST.


Jennifer is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check with your extended health plan to see if RCC's are covered by your health plan.
